McAnally Middle School

Aledo ISD’s new McAnally Middle School serves students in grades 6th through 8th. The design was realized through a comprehensive process that engaged the district and the community’s Bearcat Growth Committee. Emphasis was placed on collaboration, use of natural light, and engagement with the community through space, branding and variety of learning environments. The library is surrounded by the 2-story classroom wing, CTE classrooms and dining. A large courtyard serves as an event entry for athletics and fine arts. 

The school features a full complement of performing and visual arts spaces, athletics (including the practice gymnasium which serves as a storm shelter) and flexible classroom environments for general education, science and CTE programs.
